This has been my labor of love for the last few months. We've done all the painting, woodwork, flooring ourselves. I sewed the curtains, the roman shades, and reupholstered the ottomans. Clearly I'm hormonal, but looking at the two pictures like that...I think I'm going to cry.

Looks great! I like the brightness. I need you to come to my house and tell me how you do all of this on the cheap. My family room needs a makeover. Plaid couches, ick. How are you feeling? A baby post is due.

I am totally amazed by your awesome decorating ability! I LOVE IT! When I first saw the "new" family room picture, I thought, this looks like it came out of a Better Homes and Garden magazine or Pottery Barn magazine. It's gorgeous! You have a very awesome talent.
