Ready or not, there she goes!

She walked right past us, down the hall, and into the classroom. I blinked, and when I didn't see her anymore my heart started to race and then I heard, "she's in here!" Apparently, she heard the other kids and then helped herself to the toys after waving "hi" in some poor sniffling little girl's face. Two months early, my kid took herself to nursery. Three hour church is much more fun now with toys, snacks, and don't forget kids her size. If I thought I was distracted before, trying to keep her entertained during Sunday School, it was nothing compared to today.

I resisted the urge to check on her every five minutes. Husband only caved three times. Three different times he got up and went to peek in the window.

She did great.
We did not.

It's true what they say, you blink and they're gone.

I can't believe she's old enough for nursery! Be grateful she goes in on her own!!! There are kids who never stop crying for their whole nursery time. Don't blink again or she will be gratuating HS :)

Did little miss color that page? Holy Moly! That is some developmentally advanced hand eye coordination... (Did you notice how much of the color actually was inside the lines?) As a 22 year old I struggle to color that well. See, I told you she was going to play volleyball.

Wow, I can't believe how fast time has gone. She is such a funny bug, I laughed when I heard she took herself to nursery, however I am not surprised. That child has a LOT of personality.

Congrats on the milestone! I don't know if you've heard of the honeymoon period as it pertains to nursery, but mine loved it...at first...then WHAMO! Suddenly they remembered that taking them there, meant LEAVING them there! Just when we were patting ourselves on the back about how well adjusted our little cuties were...just sayin'!

My kids all had honey moon periods in nursery. Bryson went to nursrey early because it helped Andrew stay in there by himself. All different personalities around here.
