Cranky= Rant
I have two new pet peeves. #1. People who touch my kid without asking. #2. People who steal shopping carts.
Let me preface this with the statement that I am not a germaphobe. I could be, but I also know that it is virtually impossible to be 'germ free'! By her third day my baby was out in the community shopping. I have hauled her all over the place and I have two dogs who love to lick her face. That being said...if you are a perfect stranger DO NOT TOUCH MY KID! I don't know where your hands have been. You probably don't know either, and if you touch her hands, she is going to put them in her mouth which means whatever you had on your hands is now in my baby's mouth. It's just gross. That, and who are you anyway? Does the term ' personal space ' mean anything to you? I am amazed at how many people have no problem getting up 'in my space' to touch her. It just bugs me.
#2. People who steal shopping carts bug. Why? Because now stores put that annoying bar on the grocery cart so you can't leave the store with a cart. What am I supposed to do? Sometimes I fill my cart AND have a car seat. How am I going to get from the doorway of the store to my car when it's parked a quarter mile away in the packed parking lot? So don't steal shopping carts. It's really obnoxious and now one of my biggest pet peeves.
There. I feel much better. Thanks for listening (as if you had a choice). I will go take a nap and eat something now.
1. Often misinterpreted as a bad characteristic, crazy is used to describe people that are random, hyper, creative, and flat out fun to hang with.(adj.)

I go to great lengths to avoid grocery stores but I had actually never thought about either one. Since you put the touching your baby in that light, I would start swatting people that did it. As for the shopping carts - its only going to get worse. They are metal and until recyclers stop buying obviously stolen metal, carts are on the hit list. My peeve is with the recyclers. At least they arent aluminum or copper or it would be BYOC.
